“Creating a Brighter Future for Our Little Monks”
Nyingma Palyul Buddhist Secondary School is a small gumba located northeast of Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital in a scenic green area surrounded by rice fields and the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park.
Our School established back in 2004 by a Nyingma guru, Pema Lama who had the intention to help underprivileged children and provide them general and Buddhist education in the remote area of Kavre before relocated to Sundarijal.
All our efforts are for providing a better place to study and live for our students who you will henceforth know as Little Monks. This makes Nyingma Palyul Buddhist Secondary School more than just a physical Buddhist School – it’s a life experience in a peaceful place. We invite you to explore our dynamic and diverse community and stop by for a visit when possible.
Momentarily due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we ceased letting in random guests and volunteers. we are eager to have this hard time behind us and reopen our premises to worshipers and friends.
